Zero Tolerance’s debut album has been eight years in the making and it is definitely a debut well worth the wait.

With releases pressed and packed for some of the biggest and best labels in the business Zero Tolerance has carved himself a slice of the drum and bass pie with a rough, soulful and deep sound favoured by DJs like Bailey, Fabio, Klute, Total Science and Alix Perez.

Those familiar with Zero Tolerance's previous releases will be more than happy with Zero Tolerance’s latest collection of beats, breaks and basslines, entitled Cheap Shots, which features collaborations with artists including Alix Perez, MC Conrad, Bailey, Beta 2, Laura Pacheo and Steo.

Diversity seems to be the theme of this wonderfully executed artist album as the album offers plenty of deep, warm and gritty basslines as well as some damn sexy downbeat numbers that testify to the class and talent possessed by Zero Tolerance as a producer and musical visionary.

If you like the forward thinking neuro sound tracks like ‘Reasonable Doubt’ will float your boat, if you like chopped up amens with a liquid kinda vibe then ‘Heartbreak Ridge’ will do it for you, if you like straight up liquid rollers then ‘Inside Man,’ featuring Beta 2 and the vocal talents of Steo, will leave your head in a spin and if you love music with soul, and plenty of it, the emotive and jazzy sounds of ‘Long Road’ will have you reaching for the repeat button.

Eight years in the making Zero Tolerance has delivered a superbly executed artist album that will please current fans and, hopefully, bring this man some much deserved appreciation and recognition at home and abroad.
